Weddings

Saturday night was perfect for a wedding. Our neighbors got married here in Colorado Springs. It was a beautiful, magical, joyful event. The ceremony was beautiful with the exchanging of vows, rings and a sand ceremony signifying the blending of the 2 families. The poetry was so romantic, Nehru(?). The scent of roses filled the air as they walked down the aisle. As with most newly weds the night was filled with hope and promises and LOVE.

It was a blessed event.

Kids are fearless. For over a year now Albert has wanted to work with the bees. He got his shot saturday when we pulled honey. His job was to brush, gently the bees from the frames before we transfered them. He loved using the smoker! He thought the whole experience was HOT! Maybe next year we will invest in a child bee suit instead of a snow suit.

I think this summers garden was a disaster.  I did not have time.  I miss it.  I could list all the things that did not grow... But the plums were beautiful on the tree, beautiful in the bowl, and sweet and delicious.
